The Orangenkinder® boiled wool slippers are made from real Tyrolean boiled wool, while the sole is made from non-slip, flexible rubber and recycled cork. The insole is made of breathable, vegetable-tanned organic nappa leather and ensures a naturally soft feeling when walking. 

The boiled wool is not only particularly breathable, but also regulates the temperature without making your feet sweat. In addition, wool is antibacterial, low-odour, extremely absorbent and can absorb up to a third of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet.

What is special: Our Amigo sole is not glued - only sewn! As a result, we avoid using potentially toxic adhesives and protect the environment.

Perfect as house and kindergarten shoes, as well as barefoot shoes for the first steps outside, the breathable boiled wool and the non-slip, water-repellent sole ensure an all-round safe and comfortable wearing feeling when romping, playing and dancing.

KIGA: Unfortunately, for many kindergartens today, a thin leather sole is no longer sufficient. A kindergarten shoe with a water-repellent sole is therefore required for wet areas and short trips to the yard. Our AMIGO barefoot sole is ideal for this because it sits under a layer of breathable leather so that little feet don't sweat unnecessarily.

Thanks to a hand-sewn rubber band, the shoe cannot slip off the little ones and the older ones can slip in and out without any problems. This makes everyday work easier for parents and educators. 

First and foremost, walking barefoot is best for children's feet and their healthy development. But sometimes you need a slightly firmer sole. Our Amigos are ideal for this because, despite the firmer sole, it is flexible and soft. Explore the world in a healthy way without any restrictive limitations. To find the right shoe size, grab a sturdy sheet of paper/cardboard, put the little feet on it and trace the contours of the feet. Measure from the middle of the heel to the longest toe in cm. (=foot length)

The required increase in size is already included in the table. 

To compensate for size differences, we recommend our felt and wool fleece inserts.

Our slippers are handmade from natural materials and can vary in size by a few mm.
